Jeremy O'Keefe is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Yobi, As CEO, Mr. O'Keefe oversees all aspects of Yobi’s operations and growth strategy.
A software engineer by trade who specializes in cyber security, his extensive experience developing retail and operational software for global brands such as Amazon and Zappos led him to build a best-in-class platform for the burgeoning cannabis market.
Previously, he helped create a new model for frictionless commerce in his work for WithMe™, building secure and intuitive systems to track the entire supply chain in real-time; this commerce model served as a precursor for the development of Amazon Go Stores. His professional background includes two years of project management for his alma mater (UNLV), and he also served eight years in the Air Force as an electronic warfare technician.
He earned his bachelor’s in Computer Science from UNLV. He lives in Las Vegas with his wife and son, where he enjoys taking advantage of the wonderful restaurants and spending time with friends and family.
Taylor Jones is Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Yobi. He heads up Yobi’s research and development, and spearheads technology initiatives, system and hardware integrations, and executing partnership agreements. He manages Yobi’s engineering and development teams, and is responsible for taking product and software-feature concepts and converting them into actionable engineering tasks.
A veteran software engineer, Mr. Jones designed Yobi’s point-of-sale system, back-end services, schema design and hardware integrations.
He has a decade of experience building B2B and retail operations software for some of the largest brands in the world, leading engineering teams at TOMS Shoes and WithMe, which designs, builds and leases pop-up omnichannel retail stores for brands and retailers across the world. He is adept at developing custom software solutions for large-scale companies, as well as improving and streamlining existing systems.
Steve Mackey is Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Yobi. As SVP, he oversees all of Yobi’s sales and marketing efforts, and develops strategic plans to drive revenue growth.
He is an entrepreneur and top sales performer with a strong enterprise management record and proven history of improving operational efficiencies. He brings more than 20 years of executive leadership experience in software sales and technology consulting. His background includes information management tech for many sectors, including academia, business and government.
Previously, he founded Lodestone Data Technologies, a built-to-purpose, RFID-based grow management and inventory platform for commercial cannabis cultivation. He also advanced innovative inventory-control technology (including RFID) for libraries nationwide, and possesses a wide variety of technical knowledge in database design, development and reporting.
He earned his bachelor of arts in Foreign Languages from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee. He currently lives in Denver, where he enjoys the outdoors, live music, hosting get-togethers with friends and family, and cooking (with and without cannabis).
